BENGHAZI (RIA Novosti)- Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) confirmed the death of Muammar Gaddafi's younger son Khamis, rebel military spokesman Ahmed Bani said on Sunday.According to Bani, Khamis died in the outskirts of Tarhunah.
NTC's leadership has repeatedly reported on the death of Khamis al-Gaddafi, 28, but every time the information was not confirmed.
Khamis headed Libya's 32nd Brigade, one of Gaddafi's most professional and loyal units.
Another of Gaddafi's sons, Saif, 29, was falsely reported to have been killed in a NATO airstrike in May.
