About Organization: CIMMYT (www.cimmyt.org) is an internationally funded, non-profit research and training organization affiliated with the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR, www.cgiar.org) and has an annual budget of about US$ 91 million. About Job: CIMMYT is looking for candidates to work with their Global Wheat research team. The positions would be located at CIMMYT headquarters near Mexico City. The appointment is initially for two years, with the opportunity for extension into a career position. Extensive travel within Mexico will be required.
1. Remote Sensing Expert (applied to crops)
Skills and experience sought:
A recent PhD in physical or biological science and knowledge of crop science.
Experience in high throughput phenotyping and/or image analysis.
Quantitative skills in areas such as statistics, simulation modeling, etc.
Fluency in spoken and written English, with Spanish language skills is an advantage.
Ability to work well as part of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
2. Crop Physiologist
Skills and experience sought:
A recent A recent PhD in plant sciences and experience in crop physiology

.Quantitative skills in areas such as statistics, simulation modeling, etc.
Good publication record for level of experience.
A proven record of team play and good communications.
Fluency in spoken and written English, with Spanish language skills is an advantage.
