36 Killed, 78 Injured In Baghdad's Twin Blasts

BAGHDAD (NNN-KUNA) -- The number of casualties in the twin blasts in east Baghdad increased to 36 deaths and 78 injured, said a security source here Friday.

A bomb exploded at a square in east Baghdad, followed by another blast at the same site, late on Thursday.

Most of the casualties were security and military personnel in addition to scores of civilians, affirmed the source. -- NNN-KUNA
