Libya's National Transitional Council Chief Arrives in Doha

DOHA  (NNN-QNA) -- Qatari Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani led the well-wishers who welcomed Chairman of Libya's National Trasitional Council (NTC) Mustafa Abdul Jalil and his delegation who arrived at the Doha Internationaql Airport on Tuesday for a visit to Qatar.

During the visit, Abdul Jalil will attend the conference of the friends committee in support of Libya due to open here Wednesday.

Meanwhile, delegations participating in the conference have arrived here.

They included Greek Chief of General Staff Ioannis Glagkos, Canadian Chief of Staff General Walt Natyczky and French Chief of Staff Edward Guillard.

Representatives of Chiefs of Staff of Jordan and Turkey have also arrived here. -- NNN-QNA
