NEW DELHI (NNN-Bernama) -- India is still waiting for Pakistan to act decisively to bring to justice the perpetrators of 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, which took place three years ago and claimed over 170 people.

Despite providing sufficient evidence to Islamabad against those responsible for the inhuman act, Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna said: "I once again call on our neighbor to bring the perpetrators of the crime to speedy justice".

"We too have submitted the name of alleged mastermind Jamaat ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed to Pakistan and we are still waiting," Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted him as saying to media here on Saturday.

"I think the evidence provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs would be sufficient for any normal civilian court to prosecute people involved in the conspiracy and perpetrators of this crime."

Krishna said India was committed to having a peaceful, friendly and cooperative relationship with all its neighbors for progress and prosperity in the region.

"We call upon all our neighbors to join us in this endeavor of building a better future for our peoples," Krishna said. --NNN-BERNAMA
