Iran Has Made Eye-Catching Progress in Science: Meira Kumar

TEHRAN (NNN-IRNA): Visiting Indian Parliament speaker Meira Kumar said here on Sunday Iran has made rapid progress in science.

She made the remarks in a meeting with Vice-President for Science and Technology Nasrin Soltankhah.

“Iran is a very capable in Nano, Bio and Information Technology and could progress scientifically from 1998 to 2008, 18 times,” Kumar said.

She said that history of Iran and India are full of scientists such as Avecina and Khayyam who struggled for developing of human life qualitatively and quantitatively. -NNN-IRNA
