Chennai (GroundReport): SPR&RG construction Pvt Ltd, a prominent real estate player in the city is trying to make a difference among the city’s population through a unique initiative. As part of the program, some of the city’s residents will learn the art of gardening. Gardening is an age old art which has enabled mankind survive the test of time. However, today’s modern man has forgotten to get his hands dirty and to experience the pleasures of being close to nature.
Nature has been a core inspiration for the designs of a key project of SPR&RG and the company looks to bring out Mother Nature’s true embrace to the city through a few such initiatives. In the program at Jain’s Apartments and Sidharth’s Heights Apartments, Saligramam, the residents were given a flower pot, a gentle reminder of nature’s gifts. In a make shift area, gardening was taught to the residents. The city dwellers were encouraged to get their hands dirty and reminiscent the beginnings of mankind. Through the initiative the company aims to bring a sense of respect and acceptance for nature in the city.
