NEW DELHI, India (NNN-UNI) -- Home Minister P Chidambaram today categorically denied that he or any member of his family had acquired any stake in any telecom company.
Responding to the allegations of the agitated Members of the Opposition made earlier in the day in the Lok Sabha (Lower House) about he and his familiy's role in the 2G scam, the Home Minister said it was unfortunate that the Parliamentary platform was being misused for making wild allegations.
The furore that was created in the House during the Zero Hour, however, continued while the Home Minister was replying, Provoking him to remark "why are you afraid now to listen to the reply."--NNN-UNI
