THIRUVANANTHPURAM, India (NNN-Bernama) -- The Intelligent Enforcement automation System, developed by India's southern Kerala state's IT wing for enhancing road safety and detecting traffic violations automatically, has won the e-World Jury Choice Award 2012.
Kerala's Industries Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty said here on Thursday that the award had been given for the Best Initiative for use of ICT in Public Safety, Security and Disaster Management category, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
The system aims at ensuring that the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 are strictly adhered to by the road users. -- NNN-BERNAMA
