Interior
ministry spokesman said to BNA, these operations conducted in the vicinities of
Kabul, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Pakktia, Farah and
Helmand provinces in which 16 members of Taliban rebels were killed and 26
others of them were detained.
In
these operations, quantity of light and heavy arms consists of a PK machine
gun, 6 different types of arms, 4 warheads, 35 mines, 1300 kg of explosive
devices and 3 motorbikes of enemies were seized by national police forces.
It
should be said the national police personnel discovered and neutralized 7
warheads which were placed by Taliban for terrorist and destructive actions in
the outskirts of Qosh Tepa district of Badakhshan province.
