GAZA (NNN-KUNA) -- The Israeli army announced on Sunday that it lifted a two-day siege on the West Bank and Jerusalem for the Israeli in celebration of The Day of Atonement and the return of life in Israel to normal.
"The lifting of the siege started at midnight following consulation among security authorities," an Israeli army spokseperson told Radio Israel
Thousands of Israeli forces and volunteers were deployed during The Day of Atonement holidays near the borders with the West Bank, Egypt and Gaza
